Concept Art of the Dragonfields

The Dragonfields is a region in High Rock and Hammerfell, that starts as a plateau from the Western Reach, and slowly inclines to the Dragontail mountains of Hammerfell; becoming more rocky as it does.

The regions climate is a mixture of arid and semi-frozen, similar to a mixture of tundra and plains (e.g. Mongolian steppes)

The region is one of the most sparsely populated regions of High-Rock, it's home to the village of Azra's crossing and the Redguard town of Heldorn.

The importance of Dragonfields is that it borders and is within the three-province of Skyrim, High-Rock and Hammerfell. This combined with the sparse population makes it an ideal route for smugglers, occupying the abandoned old border fortresses and Direnni ruins.

Other than smugglers the more permanent settlers of the region are the Reachmen and nomadic tribes; Orcs can sometimes be seen roaming the place, and some of the Bjoulsae River Tribes travel up the stream of the Bjoulsae for religious reasons.
